Hi! I’m Chobe, a Washington, DC based, licensed nail artist who sees every set as its own little canvas. I've always been drawn to art, color, and design, and nails became the perfect way to bring all of that into something people can actually wear every day. I love creating custom sets with mood board freestyles, 3D and hand painted art, and non traditional inspired designs! Best for solid colors, aura, chrome, frenchies, simple abstract details, and minimal variation throughout the set.★ LEVEL 2 - DETAILED Moderately detailed sets with layered designs, minimal 3D/texture, moderate hand painted designs, patterns and shapes. Increased variation throughout the set.★ LEVEL 3 - ADVANCED Highly detailed sets with multiple layered techniques throughout the full set. Includes texture and 3D elements, detailed hand painted art and high customization across multiple nails.★ LEVEL 4 - ARTISTIC Advanced nail art with high complexity. Best for maximal nail art such as hand-painted characters, portraits and 3D sculpted art. Final pricing varies based on overall complexity.★ MOOD BOARD FREESTYLES Fully custom freestyle sets inspired by your moodboard, references, or concept. Includes a dry manicure and your service of choice. All designs are interpreted in my artistic style and pricing may vary based on design complexity.★ POLICIES/INFO Please take a moment to review the policies below before booking. By booking an appointment, you acknowledge and agree to these policies. BOOKING A $20 non-refundable deposit is required for new clients in order to secure your appointment. This deposit will be applied to your total! Your card is securely held on file to secure your appointment. LOCATION Located inside a private studio in Capitol Hill, steps away from Eastern Market at 749(B) 8th St Se, Washington DC 20003. EXTRA GUESTS Due to the limited space in the studio, appointments are reserved for the booked client only. Guests, including friends, partners, and children, are not permitted unless approved by me prior to your appointment. Thank you for understanding and helping me maintain a comfortable and service focused environment. Parking: Convenient metered street parking is available throughout the surrounding area. Please allow a few extra minutes to find parking and make your way into the building. Metro: The studio is easily accessible by the Orange, Blue, and Silver Metro lines via Eastern Market Station. As well as nearby bus access. Because appointments are scheduled back to back, please plan to arrive with enough time to park, enter the building, and get settled before your appointment time. CANCELLATIONS/RESCHEDULING You may reschedule with the same deposit as long as it is 25 hours before your appointment. Reschedules made within 25 hours of the appointment will require a new deposit. Cancellations made within 25 hours and no call no shows will result in a 50% cancellation fee of the scheduled service total, charged to the card on file. No call no shows will not be able to book again. PAYMENT Tap to pay (Apple Pay/Google Pay/physical cards with tap) or cash (exact change only), Split Payments such as Afterpay and Klarna etc. REMOVALS Foreign product removals are no longer offered. This includes Gel-X, gel polish, builder gel, acrylic, dip powder, or other product applied by another nail technician. New clients must arrive with bare, product free natural nails for their first appointment. If you currently have product on your nails, please have it safely removed prior to your appointment. Do not pick, peel, or forcibly remove the product yourself as this can damage the natural nail. Not removing foreign product prior to your appointment will result in a $25 fee. Existing Nails by Chobe clients should book the appropriate removal service when needed. NAIL FIXES Nail fixes are complimentary within 7 days of your appointment when the issue is related to product application, premature lifting, chipping, or topcoat/product issues. Please contact me as soon as you notice an issue so I can determine the best way to correct it. Fixes ouiside of this range or unrelated to product issues (hitting or slamming your nail, picking/biting, other trauma) will be up to $10 per nail depending on the nail art complexity. Please note that nail fixes address the affected nail(s) only and do not include redesigns or changes of mind. LATE POLICY There is a 10-minute grace period for all appointments. If you are going to be more than 10 minutes late, please reach out with your eta as soon as possible. Arrivals more than 10 minutes late may result in an adjusted service, modified nail art/design or cancellation depending on the amount of time remaining and the service booked. If I am running behind I will always reach out in advance or as soon as possible. If my delay is more than 15 minutes, I may offer a discount or an adjustment depending on the situation.
